Being recognised as New Zealand's best mobile network for the fifth consecutive year by independent testing company, umlaut, reflects years of ongoing investment by One NZ to expand cell-tower coverage, increase capacity and bring 4G and 5G to more New Zealanders. That investment continues, with a further 24 network builds and upgrades completed between April and June 2026.

One NZ continues investing in more mobile sites to improve connectivity across New Zealand.

One New Zealand has been recognised by the In‑House Agency Council (IHAC), winning the Creative Award for Best Use of Media at the 2026 IHAC Awards.

Since 2011, Vodafone has built 154 new rural cell sites around New Zealand in partnership with the Government and Chorus, with this final cell site delivered three months ahead of schedule.
