Can I get a woop woop? Vodafone wins Microsoft NZ Partner Award 2021!

Vodafone has won Gold in the Modern Work category of the prestigious Microsoft NZ Partner Awards 2021.

Vodafone is delighted to be awarded Gold in the Modern Work category of Microsoft NZ Partner Awards 2021.

Glenn Johnstone, Head of ICT Vodafone said; "This is the result of the continued hard work of Vodafone's ICT division, making modern working accessible for all Kiwis, and we're delighted to have the team’s efforts recognised by Microsoft." Vodafone as an organisation already has a strong flexible working culture so our staff work hard to enable other companies to experience the same benefits.

This year, Vodafone's entry showcases their work with Pāmu, the brand name for Landcorp Farming Limited. Vodafone worked closely with Pāmu during the COVID-19 lockdowns to shift the company onto a more sophisticated tech stack which allowed for hybrid working at a faster pace. Some of the star products from this tech stack were Vodafone Teams Connect and Vodafone Meeting Spaces.

To have Vodafone NZ featured amongst such amazing companies is an honour says Chief Enterprise Officer Lindsay Zwart. "Our ICT practice continues to go from strength to strength so to be recognised for this hard work is such a good feeling for the whole team. We have an exciting roadmap of transformation ahead of us as we continue to help Aotearoa move towards a more digital future so this award will help to drive us even more."

Vodafone NZ has partnered with Microsoft for just over 5 years and in that time has grown from a single customer, to a Managed Partner with numerous Gold Competencies, and being the first partner in New Zealand to achieve an Advanced Voice Specialisation with one of the largest customer bases for Microsoft Phone System in Aotearoa.

Glenn had this to say of the partnership. "We envision a future where all young people in Aotearoa have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. We can do this by delivering efficient low-cost products to businesses and individuals across the country and our partnership with Microsoft will help us to achieve this. We're extremely proud to have won this award, as a recognition for all of our hard work done so far and as a promise to work just as hard for years to come."
