Richmond Mall welcomes shining store to the Vodafone offering

Franchise owner Clinton Bloomfield details the opening of his 'flagship' Vodafone store

On Thursday 11 November, Vodafone New Zealand opened a brand-new retail store in Richmond Mall in Nelson. This store has been through a lot over the years, moving first to a more temporary location within Richmond Mall in 2018 due to the earthquake safety standards we uphold for all our stores.

This new shop is in a much busier part of the mall, meaning foot traffic is expected to increase by approximately 20-30%. Franchise owner, Clinton Bloomfield, owns four stores at the top of the South Island and considers this new store to be the flagship of the four.

"None of the other stores I operate look remotely like this. It's smaller but more functional, brighter so it captures the eye of those walking through the mall and way more interactive for customers when they come in. With this new store we've increased our product offering, meaning there are more opportunities to sell add-ons and hardware beyond just broadband and phone plans and devices."

"I've been Involved with Vodafone for over 14 years now and my whole team is really grateful for the work everyone has put into this new store opening. We've felt supported throughout this whole process and having this central hub we can send business customers to, for an experience unlike anything else at the top of the South Island, is such a win."
