OPPO Find N2 Flip takes foldables from the fringes to the forefront for Vodafone customers

The innovative foldable smartphone is OPPO's first in New Zealand

OPPO today unveiled its first foldable smartphone available to New Zealand consumers, the Find N2 Flip, which combines a revolutionary vertical cover screen – the largest of its kind – with a long-lasting, fast-charging battery and a host of flagship experiences. The new OPPO Find N2 Flip puts an innovative cover screen into palms and pockets, challenging what we have come to expect from the foldable market.

Vodafone (soon to be One New Zealand) is releasing the Find N2 Flip from today at a launch price of $1599 (valid until 02/04) - available here. Customers will receive free Enco Free2 Headphones (redemption from 09/03 – 14/04) for each purchase.

Chris Fletcher, SME & Consumer Director, is thrilled to introduce Vodafone customers to the debut OPPO foldable. “We have always been passionate about delivering the latest innovation to our customers, and the Find N2 Flip is an exciting addition to our range.

“We’re super excited about this new device and with our latest Trade-in offer, Vodafone customers can get the OPPO foldable for even cheaper!”

Key features

Together with its light weight and pocketable size, Find N2 Flip's vertical cover screen turns OPPO's debut flip phone into an incredible photography tool. The large cover screen also features powerful widgets that help users stay on top of up to six notifications at a time and handle other simple tasks without needing to open the phone.

Measuring 3.26 inches, Find N2 Flip's cover screen is the largest of any flip phone currently available. Its extra size makes everything easier to do, so the big screen is a bona fide fumble-free zone, whether taking selfies or checking notifications.

Its vertical orientation is a game changer, allowing the Cover Screen to display as many as six notifications in one view – that’s industry-leading. Users can quickly reply to messages in mainstream messenger apps, toggle settings, record a voice note, answer a call and more – all without opening the phone.

Find N2 Flip is OPPO’s first phone to offer 4 years of major ColorOS updates and 5 years of security updates, joining in to offer the longest support in Android. With polished aluminium sides, a fingerprint-resistant glass cover and a unique micro-etched wave pattern across the hinge, Find N2 Flip has a simplified design, feels rich in the hand and is available in two colours: Astral Black and Moonlit Purple.

The Find N2 Flip is tested to over 400,000 folds - equivalent to opening and closing the phone around 100 times a day for more than ten years.

There’s a tonne of hype around ultra-fast broadband (UFB). Many (myself included), are itching to get a taste of its extra capacity and speed. UFB became a very real prospect when Chorus signs popped up around my neighbourhood. The excitement was palpable. Soon men in fluoro vests were digging up streets. The neighbourhood was awash with anticipation. It didn't last. Chorus stopped laying fibre two houses either side of my place. Like other frustrated users, I won’t be able to add fibre to my online diet until 2018. It seemed that my own slice of gigabit goodness wasn’t meant to be. At least that was until Vodafone announced FibreX.
