One NZ cracks open a title sponsorship with Between Two Beers

From a garage side project to one of New Zealand’s biggest podcasts, Between Two Beers has built a loyal following on real, no-BS conversations — and now One NZ is jumping on board to help take it even further.

As the title sponsor, the partnership will see One NZ feature in the much-loved podcast. One NZ connects New Zealand, while Between Two Beers connects New Zealanders. And their mission together is to build NZ's most trusted connection platform.

Georgia Mahaffie, GM Brand & Marketing, One NZ says the sponsorship reflects One NZ’s focus on connection. “Steve and Seamus are a great Kiwi success story, starting Between Two Beers in a garage in 2019 and building it into one of country’s most authentic media brands. From our first chat, it was clear we were chasing the same thing - creating genuine connection, leading with optimism, and celebrating kiwi at their best. We’re proud to back what they’re building and excited to be part of where they take it next.”

Steve Holloway, Co-Founder, Between Two Beers: "The right partner for BTB is someone who actually gets what we're trying to do, which is connect with New Zealanders through real conversations. One NZ is a great fit. They back good things and don’t take themselves too seriously, which reflects what we’re all about. We’re beyond pumped to have them on board."

Seamus Marten, Co-Founder, Between Two Beers: "One NZ just made sense from the first conversation. They’re good buggers, and we don’t say that lightly."

The partnership launched on Sunday 26th April with One NZ Warriors legend Stacey Jones being the first guest on the show. A symbolic guest to launch the partnership between these two great brands.

Listeners can tune in to Between Two Beers presented by One NZ on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, TVNZ+ and YouTube, with new episodes released weekly.
