One NZ cellsite upgrades and new builds in May

One NZ invests in its mobile network in May

One NZ understands the importance of being connected. We spend millions upgrading our mobile network, working on hundreds of sites across NZ each year to ensure our customers are better connected.

Thaigan Govender, GM of One NZ’s mobile networks, says “In May, we completed or supported the completion of 17 new sites, and brought 5G to 9 new locations across NZ. In this year to date, we’ve built 116 sites and provided new 5G coverage to 86 locations across the motu.”

“We’re investing in our network across Aotearoa, as we know it’s important to Kiwi to be able to reach their loved ones when they need to.”

For those looking to get better coverage where they live, work or play, check out One Pin, where people can ‘drop a pin’ in places where they’re experiencing dropped calls, slow speeds, or simply don’t have connectivity at all. The more pins dropped in an area, the more One NZ can understand the priority of getting better connectivity.
